Daisy Rae Aldredge was born to the union of John Ethridge Sr. and Alberta Riley Etheridge in Okemah, Oklahoma on November 16, 1935. She is a graduate of Fowler High School and California State University, Fresno. Rae is a member of Family Community Church.
Those left to cherish Rae's memory are her husband, James Aldredge, Ph.D.; three children by a previous marriage, Robea Mims, Lorie Mims-Brewer and husband, Marco, Terry Mims and his wife, Jennifer; six grandchildren, Joslyn, Clarence and Tarance Dixon, Kamilah Gibson and Kephrah Mims; two brothers, John Etheridge, Jr. and wife Barbara, Dan Golden and wife Carolyn; two sisters, LaVera Williams and husband Lonzell, Mae Johnson (twin sister) and husband Ted Johnson; two aunts, Gertrude McAlister of Fresno and Helen J. Anderson of Los Angeles, and a host of nieces and nephews, as well as special friends, Gloria and Delmer McAlister and Dr. Mae Rogers.
Rae had a heart of pure gold and we will miss her.
