Miss Gloria Jean Booker was born August 8, 1948 in the City of Fresno, CA to Sylvester and Emma Booker. She departed this life on May 4th, 1972 at the age of 23 years.
Miss Booker had lived in Fresno for the past 23 years and during this period she gained many kind and devoted friends. She was a student at the ABC Business College.
She will be deeply missed in the community she loved so dearly, but God doeth all things for the best and it is for us to trust in Him; therefore, we commend her spirit back to the God that gave it and may she rest in everlasting peace.
She leaves to mourn her passing: Her mother, Mrs. Emma J. Booker; four brothers, Charles E., Lawrence, Mark H., and Chester; one sister, Bessie Ann Booker; a grandmother, Annie Whiteman; and a host of other relatives and friends.
