A native of Brazil, she met Daniel Hiers while she was vacationing at Miami, FL in 1996. She moved to the US and married Daniel in Hampton County, South Carolina in 1998. Ludimila was found on the bed in their bedroom with a gunshot wound to the head on the same day that her husband, a former police officer, was to surrender on child molestation charges. Her car was found in a Hospital parking lot in Texas on 6/20/2005 but no further trace of Daniel has been found.
