WILLIAM S BROSIER of Cocoa Beach, FL. He was raised in Fort Myers, FL where his father, Dyke, opened the first Firestone Store, attended the University of Alabama and was a WWII, U.S. Army veteran who was assigned to the 96th Infantry Division at Camp White Oregon, returned to the University of Alabama to complete his education as a Mechanical Design Engineer. He was employed by NACA, the precursor to NASA at Langley Aeronautical Research Center in Virginia, transferred to Kennedy Space Center and after retiring from NASA, he worked for Boeing for 10 years. Surviving are his wife, Louise Lynch Brosier (married 1945); children, Deborah Williams of Coker, Al and Barbara Brosier (Taylor Watson) of Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren, Barbara Straughn (K.C.), Jason (Haven) Williams John Williams & eight great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on June 1, 2011 at the Riverside Presbyterian Church in Cocoa Beach. Published in FLORIDA TODAY on May 29, 2011.
