Mrs. Mary Belle Biebigheiser, 95, of Winston-Salem, the wife of the late Mr. Lewis W. Biebigheiser, passed away Friday, April 22, 2005, at The Nursing Center at Oak Summit in Winston-Salem.

Mrs. Biebigheiser was born in Patrick County, April 18, 1910, to George W. and Imar B. Montgomery.

Surviving are a son, William Bowman, of Ararat, Va.; three daughters and a son-in-law, Imogene and Kelly Brown of Ararat, Va., Sarah Turner of Winston-Salem and Bertha Buttner of Dayton, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Margaret Donato and Lee Schlatter of New Jersey; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a sister, Zula Shook, of Winston-Salem; and a special friend of 65 years, Pearl Hepler of Oakland Park, Fla.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Biebigheiser was preceded in death by a sister, Dorsie Montgomery; three brothers, Tyre Montgomery, John Montgomery and Elmer Montgomery; and two sons-in-law, Billy Turner and Peter Buttner.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 25, at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy by the Rev. Dale Cline. Burial will follow at Montgomery Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative CareCenter, 1100 Stratford Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103; St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 1403 Fancy Gap Highway, Mount Airy, NC 27030; or St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 100 Skeet Road, High Point, NC 27265.
