William Thomas was born in Santa Rosa, Ca to parents that migrated to Sonoma Co., Ca from Kentucky independantly of one another. They were married in Petaluma, Ca on Mar 12, 1855 by Minister A. Bateman. William Thomas was the uncle of Violet Jane Faught, who’s mother Minnie, was his sister. He lived in the Windsor area for over 53 years and married Laura Elizabeth Gill. He was a member of the Rosewood Camp Woodman of the World and under their auspices his funeral services were held. The Rev. Homer Bodley, pastor of the Methodist church assisted.
