She is survived by a son, Percy Thames Philips, Baton Rouge; four sisters, Mrs. Wilma B. Blackwell, and Mrs. Ruby B. Toushey, both of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Minnie Lou Young, Houston, Mrs. Lucy B. Fletcher, Ethel; two brothers, William V. and Thomas E. Bridges, both of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Luz Marie Philips.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sitman W. Sims, and a son, Charles T. Philips.
