Jerry "Darlin" Darrell Bunch, a resident and native of Bluff Creek, died Tuesday, April 27, 2010. He was 72, born April 7, 1938, and a U.S. Army veteran who served in Korea. He was owner and operator of Feliciana Meat Co. and a former employee of Crown Zellerbach.

Visitation at Bluff Creek Baptist Church (with a Masonic service) until service, conducted by the Rev. Betty McCarver. Burial in Bluff Creek Cemetery.

Survived by his wife of 49 years, Ginger Davis Bunch; two daughters, Traci and husband Bubba Munn, of Zachary, and Staci "Little Bit" and husband Kirk Jackson, of Rockhill, S.C.; two brothers, Carl E. Bunch and wife Betty Jo, of Bluff Creek, and Watson "Watty" Toler Bunch and wife Sybil, of Greenwell Springs; grandchildren, Kyle Patrick Munn, Jason Brice Munn, Paden Caul Munn, Dally D'Lane Munn and Ian Kirk Jackson; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his son, Jerry D. "J.J." Bunch Jr.; parents, Talmadge "Tash" and Laura Rogers Bunch; brothers, George Talmadge Bunch and Harry Monroe Bunch; and sister-in-law, Pauline Lawson Bunch.

He was past president and member of East Feliciana Police Jury and executive board member and past president of the Louisiana Police Jury Association, past president of Quad Area, past member of the Louisiana Cutting Horse Association, past member of NCHA and past member of the Greater Louisiana Team Penning Association.
