26 April 1959: Harold O. Adams, 43, of 924 N. 6th St., was pronounced dead on arrival at the Community General Hospital yesterday. Born in Reading, a son of Frances M. (Brosius) and the late Monroe O. Adams, he was a foreman at the Middletown Air Force Depot. Adams was a member of the Lutheran Church and the Central Fire Co. and its beneficial association, Laureldale. Besides his mother, of Laureldale, Adams is survived by his widow, Marie (Mohn) Adams; a son, Kerry Lee, of Northmont and the following brothers and sisters: Roy, Mrs. Lillian Reinert, Guy and Jean, wife of Marland Brenner, all of Laureldale, and Kenneth, of Mohrsville. Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Mertz Funeral Home, Laureldale, with the Rev. Verne E. Snyder officiating. Burial will be made in Forest Hills Memorial Park. [Reading Eagle]
