Sarah [Cosler] Carson Obituary Sarah Cosler was born in Miami county, Ohio, July 6th 1823, and died at her home in Bloomfield October 20th 1917, aged 94 years, 3 months, and 14 days. She was married to Wm. Tateman Carson October 16, 1839, who preceded her in death almost 15 years. There was born to this happy union ten children, four having gone to their long home, the six living, except Joe G., were at the funeral, conducted at the home October 22, by her paster Rev. H. B. Scoles, D. D., as follows: R. Beecher Carson, Fremont, IA.; Rev. J. W. Carson, Moulton, IA.; Mrs. Jacob Angst, Mrs. W. L. Baldridge and Miss Kate Carson, Bloomfield. Besides these who mourn the loss of a dear mother are 18 grandchildren and 40 great-great grandchildren. Interment was made in the Mt. Moriah cemetery beside her husband.
