Author. A native of Lachine, Quebec, he was a 1976 Prize-Winning Nobel Laureate. Some of his best known works are, "Dangling Man" (1944), "The Adventures Of Augie March" (1953), "Herzog" (1964), "Mr. Sammler's Planet" (1970), and "More Die Of Heartbreak" (1987). During his career he captured three National Book Awards and a Pulitzer Prize. He died at the age of 89 at his home in Brookline, Massachusetts.
