Sarah Hardy Adams and her husband lived for years at the "Edward L. Adams House," located at 1850 Washtenaw Avenue, Ann Arbor. The Adams retained architect Samuel McCoskry Stanton, to design the large Georgian Revival house and it was built in 1917. After the death of the Adams, their son, Edward L. Adams, Jr. and his wife lived there until they retired and moved to Maine.
