Mrs. Jessie D. Blue, 60, of Shelocta RD3, Indiana County, died unexpectedly of a cerebral hemorrhage at 5 AM Saturday, May 11, 1957, in the Indiana Hospital. She was the wife of M.L. (Meb) Blue and a former resident of Brave. Mrs. Blue was born January 16, 1897, near Holbrook, a daughter of the late Vincent and Belle Anderson Parson. She resided at Brave for 32 years before moving with her husband to Shelocta nine years ago. She was a member of Kent's Chapel Methodist Church. Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Rush, of Edri and Mrs. Josephine Dean, of Haddonfield, N.J.; two sons, Melbourne Blue, of Willard, O., and Jack Blue, of Wateloo, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Parson, of Bristoria; Leslie Parson, of Dallas, W.Va., and George Parson, of Pine Bank, and three sisters, Mrs. Della Durbin, of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Elizabeth Woolard, of Fairmont, W.Va., and Mrs. Minnie Johnston, of Bristoria. One brother and one sister are deceased.
