Born Dec. 23, 1907 in Cleveland, a son of the late Gustav and Pearl Bailey Brigleb, he had lived in Perry for the past 40 years. He retired in 1976 as a production supervisor for the Hubbell Electrical Controls in Madison.
He was a member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Madison and the Perry Kiwanis Club. He served on the Perry Library Board for more than twenty years, where he served as president. He was also a member of the Perry Township Board of Zoning Appeals. He was a member of the Lake Shore Lodge No. 307 of the Free and Accepted Masons in Madison and was a member of the Myrtle Order of the Eastern Star in Madison.
Survivors are his wife, Mildred (Chorman); daughters, Nancy B. Melkerson of Napoleon, Ohio, Ruth S. Egli of Geneva, Switzerland, Lois M. (Francesco) Burgisser of Green Brook, N.J. and Linda L. (Paul) Hofer of Perry Township; son, Dr. Richard C. (Carol) Brigleb of Fairfax Station, Va.; and eight grandchildren.
