Jacques R. Bartchy, age 86, of North Canton died Thursday, February 3, 2000 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Jacques was a life resident of Canton. Graduate of McKinley High School Class of 1931; attended Hiram College and retired from Coen Oil Co as Credit Manager. He was a member of Canton Lodge # 60 F. & AM, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton and was a well known tenor soloist in the Canton area. Jacques was preceded in death by his parents Robert & Theora Miller Bartchy; sister, Arlene Ringenbach and his first wife, Dorothy Engle Bartchy in 1953.
