Dorothy was an amazing beautiful woman who had 1 biological daughter, 1 granddaughter, 1 great grandson, 6 stepsons and was a foster mother to over 7 children, 2 she adopted. She owned and operated a Day Care for close to 12 years taking care of over 25 children.
Dorothy (lovingly known as Nana by the many friends of her granddaughter) was a woman who put her mind to something and accomplished it. This included going back to school, getting her GED and an Associated Degree in Computers, moving from the projects and purchasing a house, opening her own business after being laid-off and by taking care of her daughter after separating and divorcing.
