Jamaal Antron Aiken, 31, of 215 Freeway Drive, died on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of Gregory Aiken and Tracy McGrier Aiken. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, David McGrier.
He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Malik Smith of Greenville, SC; his father and mother of Greenwood; his fiancée, Shanina Williams of Greenwood; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver and Ethel Aiken, Jr. of Greenwood; maternal grandmother, Shirley A. McGrier of Greenwood; god-mother, Willie Joe Rucker and god-sister, Atarius Rucker, both of Dallas, TX; and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Services are 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Coronaca, conducted by Pastor Bernard White. The body will be placed in the church at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery. The family is at the home of his parents, 102 Peachtree Street (Magnolia Place). Online condolences may be sent to [email protected].
