Margaret Elizabeth Dalrymple Kurtz, the daughter of
Samuel and Nettie Mae Dalrymple, died on
July 19, 1970 at the Community Hospital in
Onaga, Kansas after an illness of several
months at the age of 49 years and 6 months.
Mrs. Kurtz was born on January 21, 1921,
southeast of Frankfort, Kansas, where she
acquired her schooling, after which she
taught elementary school for six years near
Frankfort.
On June 20, 1947 she was married to
Raymond Kurtz. To this union was born
three children. After the first eight years
of their marriage living near Blaine, Kansas
They moved to a farm southeast of Frank-
fort where she was residing at the time
of her death.
Mrs. Kurtz was baptized in the Fostoria
Baptist Church. She later transferred her
Membership to the Winifred Baptist
Church. She was also a member of the
American Legion Auxiliary unit No. 181
and a member of the mothers club.
Margaret is survived by her husband, two
daughters, Margaret Elaine, Topeka, and
Marilyn Joyce of the home; one son Terry
Lee of the home; two brothers, Elza Dalry-
mple, Wichita, Kansas and Eldon Dalrym-
ple, Jewell, Kansas.
Reverend Loren Mohler officiated at the services on Wednesday,July 22, 1970. Burial was in the Frankfort Cemetery,Frankfort, Kansas.
Pallbearers included Gerald Adams, George
Farrell, John Farrell, Harvey Gerstner,
Wyatt Hazen and Carl Samuelson.
