WATERVILLE - Clyde Milton Bailey died on Sept. 9, 2015. He was born in Carrabassett on April 22, 1935, the son of Ralph Bailey and Sarah Welch.
He was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers; and is survived by one sister, Shirley Weston of Bingham.
Clyde graduated from Williams High School in 1954 and then enlisted in the Air Force. He served four years with a tour in Korea and Africa.
He worked at Scott Paper and then as a laborer doing roofing. Clyde enjoyed fishing, bowling, pool and women. He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. He was a member of the American Legion for 54 years.
He was able to get a few bucket list trips with special friends, Patriots against Buffalo, and an Ontario fishing trip in 2009. He will be missed by family and many special friends.
Committal service to be held at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Belgrade Road (Rte. 27), Augusta.
