Christine J. Fredrick, 12, Oshkosh, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Oshkosh on June 10, 1997, the daughter of Jerry E. and Jackie J. Fell Fredrick.

Christine was in the 7th grade at the Merrill Middle School. She loved nature and photography, but also enjoyed animals, cooking, the Packers, fishing, rock collecting, camping, music (especially playing the drums), cross country running, dancing and gymnastics.

She was especially fond on her church and school. She collected, Webkinz; Build-a-Bear; American Girl; and Barbies. She had a great sense of humor and was a caring, loving, sweet and giving person.

She is survived by her father, Jerry Fredrick, her mother, Jackie Fredrick, both of Oshkosh; brothers, Nick and Cody Fredrick, Oshkosh; grandparents, William (Ernie) Fredrick, New Mexico; Suzanne Fredrick, Green Bay; and Faith Fell, Oshkosh; uncles, Phil Fredrick (Godfather), Green Bay; Ken (Mary Fry) Fell, Oshkosh; David (Betty) Fell, Chicago; aunt, Nancy (Loren) Herrick, Woodruff, Wis.; cousins, Nicole Fell (Godmother), Oshkosh; Jeremy Fell, Oshkosh; Ryan, Julia, and Elyse Fell, Chicago; her special friend, Karen Krentz, Oshkosh; her cat, Meeko; and her dog, Max. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Fell and her uncle, Dennis Fredrick.

A memorial service for Christine will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at 5 p.m. at the Community Church on Ryf Road in Oshkosh with Revs. Alan Cleveland and Wyatt Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
