Born December 25, 1912, in Monette, Arkansas, son of the late WILBURN H. DAVENPORT and LOUVENIA BOLIN DAVENPORT, he was a retired truck drive .
On June 9, 1934, in Campbell he married FERN EDNA CAMERON, who preceded him in death on May 9, 1992. He was also preceded in death by one son CECIL VERNON DAVENPORT.
Three daughters: Louvenia Davenport, Barbara Davenport and Carolyn Davenport. One brother J.C. DAVENPORT survives CECIL DAVENPORT.
Burial at TUCKER CEMETERY, CAMPBELL, DUNKLIN COUNTY, MISSOURI, USA.
