Jim Williams was born on his family farm in Tn. He served in World War II in the Philippines and and after the war was one of the First people to settle in Butner, NC (a former WWII camp) and commenced working as a Carpenter and having children. He has 7 sons,1 Daughter, 14 Grandkids and 7 Great Grandkids. He and his family were founding members of Butner Presbyterian Church.
