Michele Annette (Hartley) Hice, age 33, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away September 9, 2006, in a Fort Smith hospital. Michele was born September 4, 1973, to Tom and Carol Hartley in the U.S. Naval Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. She was a graduate of Bokoshe High School and was a Certified Nurses Aide.
Michele married Johnny Hice on July 11, 2005, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Michele is survived by her husband, Johnny, of the home; her parents, Tom and Carol Hartley of Panama, Oklahoma; her brothers and sister-in-laws, John and Shelli Hartley of Cameron, Oklahoma, Alan and Christi Edwards of Poteau, Oklahoma, Chris and Amanda Edwards of Howe, Oklahoma, Scott and Sarah Cooper of Poteau, Oklahoma, and Sharon Hartley of Grove, Oklahoma; a sister, Nikkii Marie Hartley of Panama, Oklahoma; her grandparents, Dorothy Hartley of Bokoshe, Oklahoma, and Ed and Una Pierce of Cameron, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at Old Bokoshe Cemetery in Bokoshe, Oklahoma, with the Rev. Wesley Leflore officiating the services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home in Poteau, Oklahoma.
