Dwight William Beach, 80, of Middletown, CT, died Aug. 31, 1979 at Connecticut Veterans Home & Hospital in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. He was the son of Edith L. (Pratt) and William Edgar Beach. He was predeceased by one older and one younger sibling, who died in early childhood.

Dwight was twice married. He first married Edna E. (Stannard), sometime before 1938. They later divorced, sometime between 1952-1962. Then he became the second husband of Marion Theresa (Foye) Bush, whom he married sometime before 1962. There were no children born from their marriage. Marion survived him until her death in 1985.

At the age of 19, living in East Hartford, CT, Dwight was a railroad fire man for NY NH & Hartford Railroad, before his WWI military service. When he was 30, living in Wallingford, CT, he had been employed as a laborer in a quarry. He was later employed as a maintenance man, before his retirement.
