Francisco Alicea of Hartford the devoted husband of Betty Alicea was born October 10, 1938 in Gurabo PR died Friday (December 14, 2007). Son of the late Francisco Alicea and the late Maria Gonzalez he leaves behind two daughters, Sonia and Nancy Alicea of Hartford, a son Samuel Alicea, two step daughters, Ines Mastarrend and Tanya Velasquez of Glastonbury, 11 grandchildren, eight great grand children, three brothers Amador and Freddy from Puerto Rico, Rafael from Pennsylvania, two sisters, Sara and Juanita both from Puerto Rico. He was an active member for more than forty years of La Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana of Hartford. The funeral will be held on Thursday December 20 at 9 a.m. from La Primera Iglesia Bautista, 210 Washington St. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday December 19 from 5 – 9 p.m. at the church. Funeral arrangements by De Leon Funeral Home, 104 Main St., Hartford.
