Actor. Barry Evans was a 1970s British comedy actor, starring in such programmes as "Doctor In The House" and "Mind Your Language." He found fame in 1967 in the cult film "Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush." He later landed the part of "Dr. Michael Upton" in the "Doctor In The House" series, before taking on his best-known role as the teacher in the 1970s sitcom "Mind Your Language." Police discovered his body after going to his house to tell him they had recovered his stolen car. The cause of death was left open, but his body was found to have four-and-a-half times the legal drinking limit of alcohol.
