(Mustafa) Cetin Cangurel was born in Izmir, Turkey. He was a sergeant in the Turkish Navy, where he learned electronics and ship building, careers he spent much time with during his life. Cetin married first to Sezen Celebi in 1973 and had two children: Mehves (Cangurel) Gungor and Varda Cangurel. Cetin later married Alev Yamac. They lived in Bodrum and in the Altinoluk area. Cetin died in Istanbul, Turkey from heart failure following a long illness. His wife, Alev, preceeded him in death in 2007.( Bio by Melih Cangürel)
