Resting at funeral home, 8400 S. Ashland avenue, until noon Monday, May 1. Services, 2 p.m., at Englewood Christian church, 66th pl. and Stewart av. Interment Cedar Park, First lieutenant of World War I; Bob Evans camp, No. 76, U. S. W. V.; Railway Express post, No. 790, A. L.; Modern Woodmen of America, camp No. 3052; Masonic lodge, and R. A. M. chapter, No. 46, of Galesburg, Ill.

Entered service at Fort Sheridan, May 10, 1917; commissioned First Lieutenant August 15, 1917; transferred to 60th OTC Guard Company at Bordeaux Base Hospital 208; overseas since August, 1918; also served three years in Regular Army, Philippine Instruction.
