Funeral services for Charles Arthur Gage, 81, of Minden, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Minden Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Pitts and Rev. Doc Crow officiating.

Interment will be in Gage Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson.

Mr. Gage died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at his residence. He was born September 27, 1928 in Rusk County and lived there all of his life. He was a member of the Minden Baptist Church, Woodmen of the World, and the Trinity Valley Good Sam Club, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Gage also shared 55 years of marriage with his wife Martha.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 at the funeral home.

Survivors include: wife of 55 years, Martha Jon Gage of Minden; sons, Danny Gage and wife Barbara of Minden, and Rex Gage and wife Patrice of Henderson; daughter, Evelyn Gage of Minden; sister, Elizabeth Johnson of Laneville; grandchildren, Stacia Petty, Halea Gage, and Beverly Jones; and two great-grandchildren. Numerious nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers be Don Gage, Steve Webb, Jared Maloney, Dave Williams, David Clifton, and Rodney Clifton. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Mays, C.R. Robinson, Wendell Powell, Don Moon, Bill Webster, Kenneth Johnson, and James Ray Allen.
