He was a member of New Albany Seventh-day Adventist Church and retired from Bert R. Huncilman & Son.
Survivors include his wife, the former Janice Wilson; a son, George Timberlake of Selma, Ala.; a stepdaughter, Len Timberlake; a brother, Michael J. Timberlake of Elizabeth; and a sister, Nettie Starr Smith of Corydon.
Cremation was chosen.
Memorial service: Sunday, July 26, at 2 p.m. at Mount Zion United Methodist Church near Lanesville.
Arrangements: Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
