SOUTH PITTSBURG: William Ray Austin, 83, passed away, Saturday, January 12, 2013.
He was born on September 6, 1929 in Bridgeport, Alabama and moved to South Pittsburg in 1950. He was a retired employee of US Stove and Foundry. He was a faithful member of the South Pittsburg Church of God until he was confined at the Bridge.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jess Austin, mother, Grace Walker, step-mother, Lola Coley Austin and brother, Bob Austin.
He is survived by his sister, Ann Gudger and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 :00 pm CST, Monday, January 14, 2013, with Bro. Ronnie Case officiating.
The family will receive friends from noon until the time of service.
