Eileen married Joseph Carpenter on June 26, 1937 at St.Francis Xavier R.C.Church in Philadelphia. Eileen and Joseph had four children: Eileen (Frank Golden); Joseph, Jr. (who died at 15 months old); Vincent (MaryAnn Feighan) and Billy (Rachel Malangone). Eileen was a kind and giving person all her life. She loved children and always was babysitting her grandchildren. Eileen also loved the Christmas time of the year and putting all her Christmas decorations all over her house and really gave you the Christmas spirit when you walked in her house. She always had a smile on her face even though she had to deal with health issues most of her life. Eileen always had her hair done every two weeks and always had her make-up and jewelry on especially her earrings. Even when she became ill towards the end, she remarked to someone, after she had put her earrings on, "that you never know who you are going to meet". Eileen lived to see her three children happily married and all of her twelve grandchildren born. She will be deeply missed and always remembered by her friends family.
