Sarah married Erwin Rudolph Bergdoll on Aug 7th, 1915. In April of 1919 the Influenza Pandemic was in full swing. Sarah had just turned twenty-three years old and was five months pregnant. She was stricken with the flu and died within three days. She went shopping with her mother on Good Friday and was gone by Easter Sunday.
She is fondly remembered for her vivacious personality and her beautiful singing voice.
