PALESTINE- Services for Mrs. Doris Ann Bassett of Montalba are scheduled in Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Crowley officiating.. Burial will be in Broyles Chapel Cemetery.
She was born, the daughter of the late Dwight Vinson and Myrtle Stutts Vinson. She was a member of the Church of God. Prior to retiring, whe was a packer-inspector for Glass Containers Corporation.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Edward Bassett on March 10, 1977.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Ray Reed; two sons, Steve Bassett and Jerry Bassett; three brothers, Jack Vinson, Travis Vinson and Bobby Vinson;10 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
