Sarah Louise Douglas, 83, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on October 13, 1923 in Monrovia, CA; to Clyde E. and Edith L. (Ferguson) Seymour.Sarah was raised in Monrovia, CA; and married her husband Don in the First Christian Church in Monrovia, CA. Don and Sarah raised five children and lived in Monrovia and Duarte, CA; until they retired 28 years ago to Lake Havasu City, AZ. They loved traveling, camping and being with family and friends. They both loved life and especially their grandchildren. Sarah became interested in genealogy and soon it became her hobby. People from all over the world contacted her to assist them in learning more about their family tree. Sarah and Don were also involved in the foreign exchange program and opened their doors to many foreign exchange students.Sarah is survived by her sons, William C. "Bill" Douglas and wife Judy of Hesperia, CA; Gerald W. "Gerry" Douglas and wife Susie of Prescott, AZ; Lawrence S. "Larry" Douglas and wife Susanne of Alta Loma, CA; daughter, Diane L. Douglas Monk and husband Steve of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sister, Elizabeth Seymour-White of Walnut, CA; grandchildren, Shannan, Steve, Scott, Christopher, Jason, Brian, Amanda, Samantha, Michael and Holli; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Cameron, Nathan, Rachel, Matthew, Evan, Aidan and Robert. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Donald Douglas Sr., and her son, Donald Douglas Jr.
