Former Wichita Contractor Dies
Ralph Raymond (Bob) Bonham, 62, Hoisington, Kan., former Wichita contractor and builder, died Saturday in Wichita Veterans Hospital.
He was born Jan. 20, 1897, in Anson, Kan. He resided in Wichita 36 years before moving to Hoisington two years ago.
He married Grace Woodring July 29, 1921, in Wichita. He was a member of Anson Federated Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars in Wichita. He was a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Bonham, Larned, Kan.; a sister, Mrs. Bernadine Shaffer, Wellington, Kan., and a brother, Orlie Bonham, Augusta, Kan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Cochran Mortuary. Chaplain William Teed will officiate. Burial will be in Wichita Park Cemetery.
VFW Over There Post will conduct graveside rites.
