Judith May (Roome) Schwarz, of Great Falls, MT, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, after a short illness. She was born in St. Clair, MI, on July 22, 1941, to Margaret Fink and Marven Roome. In 1958, Judy and Thomas W. Schwarz were united in marriage, and together they had 4 children.

Judy loved to read, spent many hours knitting, collected elephants in all forms from jewelry to figurines, put her creative talent to good use making scrapbook memories for her children and grandchildren, and she handcrafted the most beautiful greeting cards that have become treasured mementos to those lucky birthday, anniversary, holiday, or "just because" recipients.

Family was always first and foremost in Judy's life, and she was always very proud and excited to tell stories about the accomplishments of her kids and grandkids. Her family was her world. She will forever be lovingly remembered by her husband, Thomas W. Schwarz, sons, Thomas W. Jr. (Vickie), Brian P. (Jeanette), daughters, Marjorie J. (Kevin) Murray, and Brenda S. Martino. She is also survived by 3 sisters, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Judy, Tom, and the kids spent their early years as a career military family, and even though they found themselves stationed at various bases in Europe and the U.S., no place on earth could compare to their love of the little piece of Heaven they later called "home." The fresh, clean air, and the beautiful mountain views of Great Falls, Montana, became the only place they wanted to live out their lives, and Judy has been laid to rest close to the home she's known and loved for so many years. God speed, Judy! The "Big Sky" is forever yours and your presence will be felt in every summer breeze that comes down the mountain sides, in every gentle sway of the flowers in the meadows, and in every pristine snow covered Montana forest. You have been dearly loved and will be sadly and forever missed. xoxo
