Mark John Alvord, 53, died on Sunday, July 29, 2007, at Holmes Regional. Mark's organs were donated and his remains cremated. Mark was born in Turkey on December 27, 1953.
He lived in Brevard County for over 40 years. He was in the Boy Scouts and graduated from Satellite High School in 1972. He later followed in his fathers footsteps by joining the Navy in January 1973.
He attended Brevard Community College where he received certification in air conditioning and heating. He spent 14 years with the Brevard County School Board. His hobbies were computers and photography. Mark was the eternal comedian, as he loved to laugh and was always trying to make others laugh. He was a friend to all and was always helping friends and neighbors in need.
He is survived by his mother, Emel Alvord; his sister and nephew, Denise Minacapelli and Anthony Minacapelli of Satellite Beach; and his long time girlfriend, Carol Clark from Palm Bay.
