Funeral services for Lois Satterfield, 94, of Gainesville, were Saturday, Nov. 18 at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville with Ed Smith officiating. Burial was in Isabella Cemetery.
Mrs. Satterfield died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2006, at Gainesville Health Care Center. She was born March 22, 1912, in Dilla, the daughter of Charles Elisha and Louella (Green) Haskins. She and Claud Satterfield were married May 7, 1927, in Isabella.
She was baptized as a young girl and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed writing songs and poetry and pieced many quilts by hand, worked in her garden all summer and enjoyed having her neighbors come to visit.
Mrs. Satterfield is survived by children (names left out for privacy reasons)
