Richard (Dick) Allison Bunker, 81, of Sheffield, Pennsylvania passed Sunday, April 15th, 2012 at Hamot Medical Center. He was born August 7, 1930 in Bradford, Pennsylvania to George Ellsworth and Hazel Higley Bunker.

Dick, a master carpenter, was employed by Corbon Wood Products, Nelson Brothers, United Lumber, and Frank Chase Cabinet Makers. He was proud to be a part of construction on the Kinzua Dam Power House, Millcreek Mall and Hamot Medical Center.

Both Dick and Kay enjoyed spending their time at the Sheffield Senior Center. He enjoyed playing pool, while Kay enjoyed playing cards. Both were always eager to lend a helping hand wher-ever they saw a need. They were also longtime members of the Sheffield United Methodist Church. Dick and Kay thought of the senior center, church and community on Four Mile Creek as their extend-ed family.

Kay is survived by her two children Gary Swanson of Lake Elsinore, California and Douglas Swanson of Jamestown, New York. Dick is survived by his children Lori Godfrey of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Rick Bunker of Pocatello, Idaho; Kathy Bennett of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Angie Gaeta of Royse City, Texas; and Brenda Summers of Rigby, Idaho. Together they had twenty-two grandchildren.

Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Kay, and his infant daughter Patricia Ann.
