NOW AT HOME at Brownsville are Mr. and Mrs. Sven Alstad whose marriage took place January 28 at the rotary of Our Lady of the Sea Catholic church. Their double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Maximillian Murray. The bride is the former Louise Lambert, daughter of Mrs. Opal Lambert and the late Ernest Lambert. The bridgroom is the son of Mrs. A. Alstad of Silverdale.

Baskets of chrysanthemums and carnations framed the fireplace. The bride wore attractive gray colored suit and carried roses. She was given in marriage by her father-in-law Mel Danhauer.

Mrs. Ddanhauer was her sister's matron of honor. She was attired in a dressmaker suit of gray and a corsage of camelias.

John Pry was best man.

For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Lambert wore a aqua dress. Mrs. Alstad wore a black gown and the women had corsages of while gardenias.

A reception was held at the bride's home. Mums and carnations decorated the home and the bride's cake was white bordered with rosebuds. A miniature bride and groom decorated the top.

Mrs. Myrtle Lambert, aunt of the bride, cut the cake and Mrs. ____ Jamison was at the coffee urn.

Mrs. Teresa Danhauer poured and Geraldine Lambert was in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Sullivan was in charge of the groom's cake.

Louise was born on 2/12/1928 in Bremerton to Ernest and Opal (Hart) Lambert. She was a graduate of Central Kitsap High School. Louise was a member of the senior singers in Bremerton and the Single Sams camping club. She loved to crochet.

She is preded in death by her parents and husband. Treasuring her memory are son Bruce Alstad of Yorba Linda, CA and sister Teresa Hall of Salt Lake City, UT.
