Ray Kennen writes to his parents at this place the particulars of the accidental killing of a son of A.Y. Boswell of Tulsa, OK. There were two boys, and one day last week they went to the country to visit an uncle and went out hunting. They found a squirrel and Alva raised a 33 caliber rifle to shoot when the gun was accidentally discharged, the bullet striking his brother, Hoyt, in the breast, ranging downward, severing the arteries of the heart. He lived only a few moments. The boys uncle was with them at the time of the accident. The boy who was killed was only about 11 years of age. Mr. Boswell formerly resided in this locality and his many friends will regret exceedingly to learn of the sad affliction that has come upon his family. His parents, a brother and two sisters, left Monday to Tulsa to attend the funeral.
