On Feb 11, 1950, she was united in marriage to Theodore (Ted) Church. Virginia had been employed as a beautician and worked as a clerk at retail stores in Baraboo until she retired. Virginia was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Baraboo.
She is survived by her son, Dan (Pat) Church, two grandchildren, Jennifer (Tim) Green and Robert Church; two step-grandchildren, Tanya Kirk and Denise Briggs; her brother, Dale Vertein; and a sister-in-law, Arphaline Church; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Ted; an infant sister, Crystal; two infant brothers, Chester and Dean; two step-daughters, Sharon Thompson and Cindy Neumann; two sons-in-law, Donald Thompson and Earl Neumann; three brothers-in-law, Leroy, Kenneth and Howard Church; and two sisters-in-law, Thelma (Howard) Church and LaMeda (Dale) Vertein.
Funeral services were held on May 24, 2011 and burial was in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
