Final rites will be Tuesday at 10 A.M. from the Bracken Memorial Chapel in Ogallala with Rev. Elmer Craver officiating. Interment will be in the Brule Cemetery.
He was born the son of Frank and Marvilla Crandell, July , 1916, in Hardy.
Crandell first attended school in Big Springs and at a young age his family moved to Ogallala where he continued his schooling.
He was united in marriage to Frances Epping Sept. 23, 1958, in Grant and they made their home in Brule since that time.
Survivors include his wife, Frances, his mother, Mrs. Marvilla Crandell of Brule; two sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Aylya of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Violet Geier of Kansas City, Kan.; and four step-children.
