Fred A. Baird

Fred A. Baird, age 90, of Findlay, died at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Fox Run Manor.
Fred was born on June 21, 1916 in Fostoria, Ohio to Fred A. and Vera (Elsea) Baird. On June 10, 1938 he married Marilyn Hennings and she preceded on July 3, 2005.
Survivors include two daughters, Ellen Hoar (Robert), Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Becky S. Yoakum (Charles), Marysville, Ohio; five grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded by sisters, Elaine Ewing and Joyce Wallar and a brother, John D. Baird.
Fred had been employed at the former Buckeye Traction Ditcher and Garwood Industries. He had retired as a self-employed building contractor in 1979. He was a member of Pioneer Auto Club, Austin Bantam Auto Club and a charter member of the Antique Study Club.
Private graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2007 at Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township, Wood County, with Reverend David F. Koch, officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
