"A private family service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, in Bollman Funeral Home in Dallas for Donald Jeptha Beebe of McMinnville who died Feb. 17, 1997, at age 94.
Mr. Beebe was born April 10, 1902, in Waukon, Iowa. He moved to Oregon and married Margaret Richard in 1926. They lived in Dallas, Delake, Monmouth, Corvallis and Lafayette before moving in 1973 to McMinnville.
A plumber who retired from Oregon State University in 1967, he then bought, remodeled and resold homes. He belonged to McMinnville First Christian Church. Mr. Beebe held offices in Order of Eastern Star chapters in Corvallis, McMinnville and Lincoln City. His wife died Jan. 22.
Survivors include his son, Donald of McMinnville; daughters, Irene Shrock of Lincoln City, and Shirley Hoffart of Portland; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in Salt Creek Cemetery."
