Mrs. Helen Jo Hacker Ashley passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at her Aiken residence. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruby Mae Woodson Hacker.
A resident of Aiken since 1979, she was a clerk for E.I. DuPont, a member of Shaws Fork Baptist Church and a member of the Town and Country Garden Club. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother that loved art, music and working with flowers. She also served with ACTS.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Ollie Clifton Ashley, Jr.; daughter, Charlotte Andrews of La Grange, GA; son, Ollie Clifton Ashley, III of Aiken; two grandchildren, Jim Andrews and Caleb Ashley; nephew, Terry Stephens; niece, Zina Stephens.
Funeral services were held at 3 PM on Friday, May 1, 2015 in the Shellhouse Funeral Home chapel. The Reverend Donnie Royster officiated. Interment followed in Sunset Memory Gardens.
