She was the widow of Marshall L. "Roy" Avin and was the daughter of the late Ollin and Sallie Bowers Davis. She was owner and operator of The Fashion Outlet in Manning for twenty years, a member of Manning United Methodist Church, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by a son, Marshall Timothy Avin (Sue) of Manning; two daughters, Donna Avin Brandon (George) of Carthage, TN, and Shirley Avin Jowers (Gerald) of Columbia; two sisters, Frances Dennis of Virginia, and Dot Andrews of Sumter; a brother, Hazel Davis of Kershaw; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
