In 1840 this pensioner, living in l\iiarcellus, was said to be 80 years old, and was from Connecticut as a pensioner. He was born in Mansfield, Ct., Sept. 2, 1759, and married Lucy Bowen of Lebanon, April 6, '85. Their children were all born in Conn.-Balch. Gen. Reg. 71. 130-1. He enlisted from Mansfield in 1st Conn. Line, April 26, '77, was at Stony Point, and served three years. His pension application was made in April, 1818.
