Services for Arthur L. Baggett, 92, of Tyler are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, at Lloyd James Funeral chapel with the Rev Paul Saylors and the Rev. Dr. Danny Pickens officiating. Burial will be in Bascom Cemetery under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Mr. Baggett passed away Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, in Tyler.

He was born on April 9, 1918, in Anderson County to the late Walter and Annie Parker Baggett. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a retired operator for LaGloria Oil and Gas Co. He was a member of Southern Oaks Baptist Church, Knights Templar and St. John Masonic Lodge No. 53. He had lived in Tyler most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Floy Belle Baggett.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Ann Baggett of Chandler; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Steve White of Winchester, Va.; and grandchildren, John Wesley Baggett of Chandler and Jennifer White of Winchester, Va.

Pallbearers will be deacons of Southern Oaks Baptist Church and the Monday Night 42 Gang.

The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Lloyd James prior the funeral.
